Treasure Island Hotel

The Treasure Island Hotel, also known as the TI, was originally built in 1993 as a pirate-themed hotel. Years later, it was remodelled so its facilities could be updated and geared towards a more adult clientele.

The Treasure Island hotel, also known as TI, has come a long way since it first opened. In 2003 it was adapted into a more adult-oriented hotel. The pirate theme is still on display, but it is no longer promoted as the family attraction which had previously been known for.

Facts and figures

The TI Treasure Island hotel has 2885 rooms, 1 open-air pool, and a large jacuzzi. Its casino covers a space of 8800 square meters.

Shows

Mystere is the longest running show of the world-famous Cirque du Soleil and has its permanent home at the TI hotel. Despite being in its 2nd decade it still today continues to cause a buzz.

Our opinion

The Treasure Island hotel is aimed at a young public and the advantage it has over others is its central location. The equally priced MGM Grand is a better offer with nicer rooms and a pool that's the envy of all other Vegas hotels. Another similar option would be the New York New York.
