This South Rim tour from Las Vegas is one of the most incredible experiences you'll ever have. See the southern area of the famous Grand Canyon, enjoy the visitor centre, Kolb Studio, Bright Angel Lodge and other landmarks along the way.
South Rim Day Trip
We'll pick you up at your hotel in Las Vegas and board a deluxe motorcoach. On your way to the South Rim, you’ll get a complimentary morning snack. We'll drive through the Mojave Desert and cross the famous Mike O’Callaghan-Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge. As we drive we'll see incredible desert plants and scenery and experience elevations of 5000 feet (1524 metres).
Keep a lookout for wildlife from the Colorado Rockies, with 100-foot tall pines (30,5 metres) giant elk and mule deer. You'll be amazed at the stone's red tones and the spectacular shapes that the Colorado River carves out.
Our first stop will be at the Robert L Mendenhall Scenic Overlook which offers beautiful views of Lake Mead, the unique desert lake that was created through the construction of the Hoover Dam.
We'll arrive at Grand Canyon National Park, arriving approximately 4 and a half hours after departing from Las Vegas. You'll be able to enjoy views from along the South Rim, part of one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. Here, you'll have time on your own to explore the attractions such as El Tovar, Hopi House, Kolb Photo Studio, and the Bright Angel Trail and of course, take some fantastic photos!
After exploring the Grand Canyon National Park for about 3 hours, we'll depart for your return trip back to Las Vegas.
If it's not possible to provide a planned inclusion of the tour with an admission cost due to weather conditions, a partial refund will be offered to the guests, minus a processing fee. If the tour still takes place with a portion of the planned itinerary, guests will not receive a refund, other than from excluded admissions.
