KÁ is based on the legendary Egyptian concept of dualism. Here, two twins, man and woman separated at birth, must face the wind and the tide to be reunited.

Setting

If the acrobats, jugglers, musicians and singers are pure spectacle, the setting where all this takes place is no less so. In KÁ there is not fixed stage, rather two enormous platforms, around which different elevators rise, fall, turn, appear and disappear, bringing life to the festival, and receiving various technical prizes in doing so.

KÀ's stage rotates 360 degrees. Also, every night, two tons of granular cork (one ton per show) simulates sand. Everything about the show is impressive, for example during the pre-show 120 fireballs are discharged 30 feet (9m) high, with temperatures of up to 572ºF (600º Celsius).

Another example of the magnificence of this show: the boat in the storm scene weighs 1102lbs (500 kg) and is completely handled on stage by the performers.
